Anita Hamley

Anita Hamley BSc(Hons) ST MSST LCGI

 

Anita graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Sports Therapy. She now provides a mobile therapy service around Cornwall, treating patients in the comfort of their own home.

 

Currently Anita provides pitchside sports therapy treatments for a local rugby club. The third year of her degree was spent as an intern with the Cornish Pirates rugby team for the season. Where she carried out assessments and treatments of injured players. Throughout the fourth and final year of her degree she worked with the universities American Football team for the season, providing pitchside sports therapy and injury treatments. The university also had their own drop in sports injuries clinic which was run by Anita along with fellow final year Sports Therapists.

 

Anita is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists. Members have undertaken an accredited programme of study to achieve the required skills and knowledge that are recognised by the leading professional body. The society provides Professional Indemnity Insurance for all members.
